Charity Lecture by Nathan Wilson ( Instant Download )
On July 16th, organized by my dear friend Timon Krause, seven of the best minds in magic and mentalism are scheduled to be lecturing alongside me to help raise money for my mother’s medical bills: Marc Weide (World Champion of Magic), Paul Brook (one of the most experienced Mentalists around), Jonathan Levitt (developer of The Stranger and winner of The Magic Castle’s lecture of the year), Christian Grace (you likely haven’t met a more out-of-the-box-yet-incredibly-practical creator), Rainer Mees (one of the, if not the, most in-demand Mentalism consultants), Nathan Wislon (creative thinker extraordinaire as well as underground consultant) and Timon Krause (of questionable talent but with lots of curls). Each lecturer will do roughly an hour. The lectures will take place in English. . Information on how to participate after this short story:
For those that don’t know, outside of having a day job, working as a consultant and the content producer here at One Ahead – I am also the primary caregiver for my mother. It’s not easy, but it is what family is for. The past 9 months have been some of the hardest in my life. I was making it – but barely. To be honest, I probably wasn’t making it. I just tell myself that so I feel a tad better about everything in my life.
After an emergency surgery last month, I was stressed. I was missing work, couldn’t focus on writing, and was draining my bank account. This is where Timon Krause enters the picture. Besides being one of the greatest mind readers in the world – he is also one of the best friends you could ever ask for. Timon pitched the idea of a joint lecture where he would just lend his name, and all the proceeds would go to me. I’m not really in a position to say no and after a conversation on what I could lecture about – Timon got to work.
Philo Knotik, an amazing performer and a lovely human, volunteered to organize the event. But after a few weeks, he reached out with the news. It wasn’t just going to be me and Timon. Once word got around, Rainer Wees, Jonathan Levit, Paul Brook, Marc Weide, and Christian Grace all agreed they wanted to do the event too.
So we reached the date of July 16th at 10 am CST ( or 4 pm BST, 5 pm CEST) But don’t worry if you can’t make it – recordings of the event will be made available for a few days after the event. Each lecture will be about an hour in length.
